                                   Natural Resources Conservation Services

Come by our office and speak with district employees or any NRCS employee about signing up for the NRCS programs on your farm.   We offer the following:

EQIP - Environmental Quality Incentive Program  (cross fencing, alternative water sources, ponds, prescribed grazing, prescribed burning, pasture improvement ...etc including forestry practices)

CSP - Conservation Stewardship Program - Encourages landowners to maintain conservation practices already in place and implement something new each following year.

MRBI - EQIP practices within 3 specific sub watersheds in the Strawberry River Watershed.
these watersheds are:  Whaley Creek , Fool Creek, and Hamilton Branch.   This provides additional funding opportunities available to landowners located within these watersheds.
